Job Title - Validation Engineer
Location - Austin, TX (on-site)
Role type - 12+ Months (Contract)
Job Description:
Validation of DDR RAS features across server product line.
Debugging issues found during the pre-silicon process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs
Collaborating closely with cross-functional technical teams
Engaging in other software/hardware modeling frameworks
Driving technical innovation to improve our capabilities across validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional technical initiatives
Preferred Experience:
Programming/scripting skills (e.g. C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python).
Familiarity of DDR RAS and RAS features and methodology
Experienced debug capabilities including using common lab equipment, like protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
Experience with board/platform-level debug
Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and pronounced attention to details
Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion
Academic Credentials:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering, or comparable disciplines
3+ years experience in DDR or SoC technology
