Job Title: Tungsten TotalAgility (TTA) Developer / Software Engineer
Overview:
Our Automation spinoff, TranscendAP Inc., is seeking a highly experienced Tungsten TotalAgility (TTA, formerly Kofax KTA) Developer with deep expertise in TTA platform development and SQL Server and\or Oracle. This role is focused on designing, building, and supporting enterprise-grade automation, workflow, and document processing solutions within TTA within the Accounts Payable domain.
The ideal candidate is a true TTA specialist, comfortable working across workflows, forms, capture, integrations, and database-level logic, while optimizing performance and supporting complex, multi-tenant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Tungsten TotalAgility (TTA) Development
Design, configure, and implement TTA workflows, forms, capture processes, and business rules
Build and maintain work queues, validation forms, and process orchestration
Develop custom scripts, activities, and integrations within TTA
Troubleshoot and optimize workflow performance, job execution, and queue processing
Support customer issues, enhancements, and production incidents
Manage TTA deployments, upgrades, and environment configurations
Apply best practices for scalability, maintainability, and multi-tenant solutions
SQL & Data Management
Design and maintain SQL Server schemas supporting TTA applications
Write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and views in SQL Server and Oracle
Support reporting, analytics, and data extraction needs
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks at the database level
Ensure data integrity and efficient interaction between TTA and SQL
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands-on Tungsten TotalAgility (TTA/KTA) experience
Workflows, forms, capture, queues, scripting, integrations
Strong expertise in:
MS SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
Oracle (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
Experience with:
TTA integrations with external systems (ERP/AP platforms preferred)
Troubleshooting production issues within TTA environments
Solid understanding of:
TTA architecture, job execution, and processing lifecycle
Database-driven application design
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience with:
AP automation, invoice processing, or OCR/capture solutions
ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Knowledge of:
TTA multi-environment deployments (Dev, QA, Prod)
SQL performance tuning for high-volume workloads
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Clear communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ownership mindset with focus on reliability and performance
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Location
Remote, with preference for candidates in the US Eastern Time Zone. Occasional collaboration with our New Jersey-based team
