Test Validation Engineer

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Optical Engineering
8+ years of experience in systems integration, test and validation, or hardware development
Deep hands-on experience with electro-mechanical and optomechanical hardware (lasers, motion stages, control electronics)
Proficiency with test automation software (LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB preferred)
Ability to diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, optical, and control domains
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Experience with precision motion systems, optical alignment, and laser-based equipment
Semiconductor manufacturing equipment or capital equipment experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Lead hardware integration and validation of complex laser-based manufacturing systems including optical, mechanical, electrical, and precision motion subsystems
Develop and execute detailed hardware test procedures from subsystem to system-level validation ensuring performance meets design and reliability requirements
Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across electrical, mechanical, optical, and control domains
Design and implement test automation solutions to enable efficient and repeatable system verification and validation
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance
