At HCL Software we are seeking to hire a Senior QA specialization for the BigFix Engineering team. We are looking for a QA engineer who will be introduced in a worldwide context, working with teams geographically distributed and interacting with different departments and final users, contributing to the development of software products globally distributed. This role specializes in working with and providing technical guidance to other junior development members and collaborate with architects and other leadership team members. We are on the lookout for a highly talented and self-motivated QA developer willing to get thoroughly involved in an inclusive and open-minded teamwork in a dynamic, global, and multicultural organization with advanced processes.

• As a Senior with specializations on QA, you will have a track record of successful projects with demonstrated impact on their success thanks to strong technical and personal background.

• You are a skilled, self-motivated and curious QA Developer willing to join our development team.
• Our ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work independently and juggle multiple tasks. You must be able to identify problems before they happen, dig deep for root causes, and implement solutions that prevent future occurrences.
In our team you will be responsible for:
• Manual/Automation Testing/Functional testing
• To design, create, test and deploy effective test solutions for the product.
• Make test cases with user stories or test scenarios.
• Perform test case execution with scenarios.
• Creating, Enhancing, Debugging and Running Test Cases.
• Analyze the underlying causes of current test failures and provide corrective action.
• Delivers all tasks assigned on time, on scope, and with high quality with limited technical assistance or guidance.
• Work with managers and the engineering team to ensure test plans and test cases accurately map to functional and technical project requirements.
• Raises and escalates impediments to delivery to the lead and provides options and alternatives that would remove the impediments.
• Quick turn around on issues around automation tests writing/debugging/fixing
What You'll Bring:
Graduated with university degree in either Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics disciplines.
Experience in Manual Testing, Functional testing, test case creation
Experience in Automation testing
Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Required Technical Skills with proven track record of successful projects and strong hands- on experience in following areas.
Manual Testing, Functional testing, Test Case creation
UI automation using Playwright tool or any framework based on javascript, Jscripting knowledge, API testing, Automation of API test cases using POSTMAN or SOAP UI.
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes technology
Bug tracking tools like Jira
Load and Security testing (good to have)
Required Soft Skills
Experience in performing problem determination & root cause analysis
Strong analytical ability with good practice in breaking down complex problems into simple tasks to be delegated to other team members
Dedicated to continual self- development
Good teamwork
Leadership, delegation, and accountability
Ability to collaborate with geographically distributed cross- functional teams
Ability to multitask
Good written and verbal communications skills
