Test Lab Engineer

Test Lab Engineer ($30 – 40 p/hr))

We are seeking a Test Lab Engineer to work for an established high-technology Manufacturer East of Syracuse, NY. This is a 1st shift opportunity.
This role combines both project coordination and hands on engineering testing within a fast-paced engineering lab environment.

Key duties include:
Review and define testing scope and requirements.
Perform environmental testing including: thermal shock, temperature cycling, climatic chamber, magnetic, and electrical validation testing.
Prepare test plans, technical documentation, validation reports, and communicate results to development teams and customers.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and test equipment using multimeters, power supplies, and related instrumentation.

Education and Experience:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
An AAS degree will also be considered with years of relatable experience.
1-3+ years of experience (Co-op, Internship, considered as well) supporting validation, environmental, electrical, or product testing activities within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Experience reading electrical schematics and performing measurements using DMM, oscilloscope, power supply.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
