Test Firmware Engineer - InfoConn (1)
Required Experience & Skills
Strong ECU firmware development background – hands-on experience working with Electronic Control Units. 10+ years of experience.
Experience in developing software stack for DV testing of PCBAs and ECUs for next gen Electric vehicle platforms (SDVs)
Experience in electrical design verification & characterization of Connectivity and vehicle access ECUs
Hands-on experience in developing device drivers for PCABA components
Skilled in creating software prototypes for early h/w + s/w co designs
Experience in developing validation test cases and automating test cases in Python/C programming
Telematics & Infotainment systems expertise – deep understanding of HMI & connectivity related requirements.
Familiarity with engineering tools like Logic Analyser, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, Multi meter, CANoe, CANApe.
Cross functional collaboration with EE design, SW stack design team to define test plans, test specifications, develop automation scripts
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and diagnostic services (UDS, OBD) highly beneficial.
Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety, AUTOSAR, and ASPICE standards beneficial.
Knowledge of Python/C for automation script development.
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Work Location: Onsite Paulo Alto, CA, USA - due to hardware dependencies and proximity to the design team.
