Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking Test Engineers to help build and scale the quality engineering practice for a cloud-based, multi-tenant B2B SaaS platform operating in a regulated environment. Duties:

Design and implement a comprehensive test strategy across a distributed, service-oriented architecture
Build and maintain automated test frameworks using modern languages and tooling
Establish patterns for test data management, environment isolation, and repeatable test execution
Test asynchronous workflows that span multiple services and background processors
Validate complex data flows where inputs are processed, transformed, and persisted across systems
Design testing strategies for AI-assisted or non-deterministic workflows, including mocking, schema validation, and graceful failure handling
Test external system integrations such as email or document ingestion pipelines in a provider-agnostic way
Validate schema migrations and data-model changes
Write tests that ensure strict data isolation in a multi-tenant environment
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines as blocking quality gates
Optimize test execution through parallelization and selective runs
Build smoke tests and post-deployment validation suites
Ensure test results are visible, actionable, and trusted by engineering teams
Identify and test performance-critical system paths
Design and execute load and stress tests for APIs and background processing
Validate system behavior under failure scenarios and degraded conditions
Ensure services recover cleanly and predictably after dependency failures
Build E2E automation for critical user workflows in a modern web application
Implement reliable browser-based testing with stable selectors and clean environment setup
Validate generated artifacts (documents, spreadsheets, files) for correctness, formatting, and data accuracy

3+ years of experience in an SDET or software engineering role with daily test automation coding
Strong experience with TypeScript or JavaScript

Hands-on experience testing APIs programmatically
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
Experience testing asynchronous or event-driven systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates
Ability to read and reason about production code
Clear communication skills and a quality-first mindset

Preferred

Experience testing AI-integrated or data-driven systems
Experience with modern browser automation tools (e.g., Playwright or Cypress)
Familiarity with dependency-injection-based backend frameworks
Experience testing multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Exposure to contract testing or service-to-service validation
Experience with performance and load testing tools
Background working in compliance-regulated environments where test evidence matters
