Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline in Electrical, Computer, Computer Science or related field of study or related professional level career experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office products to generate status reports, project plans, work instructions, etc.
Experience writing, editing and supporting existing software code base (LabVIEW or C).
Experience in analyzing and resolving problems.
Experience in managing and prioritizing your own workload that may consist of several tasks at once.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in effectively working on teams.
Candidate must be able to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.
Ability to work with minimal detailed direction to deliver desired results.
The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Clearance is required to start.

We are experiencing growth and we are looking for a Systems Integration and Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin's Westford, MA facility, to support the design, development, and maintenance of test consoles and automated test equipment (ATE) systems.

Our team is responsible for ensuring the production of reliable products that meet customer requirements, and you will play a key role in architecting new test stands, designing test solutions, and developing algorithms and techniques.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the production floor, developing new test capabilities, and troubleshooting and debugging existing test equipment. You will work on a wide variety of tasks across the life cycle of a test, from design to production, and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Architecting new test stands to system level requirements
Designing test solutions and developing algorithms and techniques
Supporting complex digital, RF, and/or microwave custom automated test equipment (ATE) systems
Troubleshooting and debugging existing test equipment
Collaborating with engineering teams, program management teams, and production floor teams
Managing and prioritizing your own workload, which may consist of several tasks at once
Generating status reports, project plans, and work instructions using Microsoft Office products
Writing, editing, and supporting existing software code base (LabVIEW or C)
Analyzing and resolving problems

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Clearance is required to start.

Desired Skills

A minimum of 2 years of professional level career experience is preferred.
Active Secret Clearance
Experience in SAP/MRP systems for production build
Proficiency with electrical parameter measurements typically required for components and subassemblies.
Proficiency with Radio Frequency or Microwave systems and subsystems.
Proficiency in developing complex test programs with NI LabVIEW and/or Test Stand development environments.
Proficiency researching and specifying components for test equipment design.
Proficiency troubleshooting measurement issues and isolating problems down to the test instrument, fixturing, software level or unit under test.
Proficiency generating assembly and block diagram sketches, parts lists and other types of engineering documentation.
Proficiency in Corrective/Preventative action process and implementation.
Proficiency deriving test requirements from design or system level requirements.
Proficiency reading, understanding and writing change orders to; assembly drawings and parts lists for test equipment and systems.
Experience preparing charts and giving presentations outlining technical issues, solutions or trade studies.
