Summary
The Test Engineer will develop procedures, methods and tools for test and verification of the Company’s products. A big focus will be on test automation including automation of DUT behavior as well as test equipment setup, testing and reporting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Develop procedures and tools for testing and validation of product level functionality as well as software regression testing.
· Automation of test cases and integration with automated test frameworks using Python.
· Using AI tools to improve test coverage.
· Enable automatic logging and reporting of test results.
· Other duties as required.
Skills and Abilities
· Excellent skills in programming with Python and C++.
· Strong knowledge in wireless testing and understanding of basic wireless principles/
· Knowledge of AI tools and how to apply these to improve coding and testing efficiency.
· Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
· Analytical reasoning and problem solving.
· Experience in developing test instructions and procedures.
· Strong software debug skills to help pinpoint problems.
· Infrequent travel may be required.
· Ability to use sound judgment when representing the Company, operate as part of a team and collaborate with others while taking initiative.
· Must foster a professional attitude with a sense of humor and demonstrate integrity and flexibility.
Work Experience
· 5 years’ experience in testing embedded software systems using Python and/or C++
· 2+ years of experience with RF bench tools such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers and vector signal analyzers.
Knowledge (or education) of Digital Signal Processing which is related to Cellular networks, is highly recommended.
· Background in wireless testing, especially LTE and 5GNR
Education
· BS in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
