Automotive Test & Development Engineer – Infotainment Domain clusters, head units, center displays, and related infotainment components.
Develop and execute test plans for Automotive Infotainment systems, clusters, head units, center displays, and related infotainment components.
Perform CAN network testing and analysis using CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape to monitor, simulate, and validate ECU communication across vehicle networks.
Create and execute automated test scripts using CAPL and CANoe automation frameworks to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
Analyze CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication logs to identify communication issues, diagnose faults, and support root cause analysis activities.
Validate infotainment ECU requirements against customer specifications, functional requirements, and automotive standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Perform integration and system-level testing of infotainment components, ensuring proper interaction with vehicle ECUs such as BCM, Instrument Cluster, Telematics, and Gateway modules.
Develop test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices based on system requirements and software design documents to ensure complete feature validation.
Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot defects, verify fixes, and ensure timely product releases.
Support vehicle-level testing and validation activities, including bench testing (HIL/SIL), lab testing, and on-road vehicle testing for infotainment features.
Prepare test reports, defect documentation, and validation summaries using tools such as JIRA, DOORS, Polarion, and Vector toolchain while ensuring compliance with Automotive SPICE and quality processes.
