💰 $80K–$100K Base Salary
We’re partnering with an innovative medical technology company developing advanced ultrasound and acoustic systems used in meaningful healthcare applications. This is a highly hands-on engineering opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, building, testing, and improving real-world hardware in a fast-paced R&D environment.
This role is ideal for an engineer who naturally takes things apart, figures out how they work, and enjoys solving technical problems across electronics, testing, and lab systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
🔹 Own and maintain the acoustic testing lab environment
🔹 Perform acoustic testing on ultrasound transducers and related systems
🔹 Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and acoustic-related issues
🔹 Improve and automate testing methods using MATLAB and/or Python
🔹 Work with oscilloscopes, PCB schematics, lab instrumentation, and test equipment
🔹 Build custom test fixtures and support prototyping efforts, including 3D printing/CAD work
🔹 Create test procedures, reports, and technical documentation
🔹 Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and project managers to support product development and production
What They’re Looking For
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field
✔ 1–3 years of hands-on engineering, testing, validation, or troubleshooting experience
✔ Experience with MATLAB and/or Python
✔ Familiarity with PCB troubleshooting, schematics, and lab instrumentation
✔ Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
✔ Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
✔ Someone hands-on, curious, proactive, and naturally inclined toward building/tinkering
Nice to Have
➕ Medical device or technology manufacturing experience
➕ Acoustic testing or ultrasound exposure
➕ CAD modeling / 3D printing experience
➕ ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 familiarity
➕ Firmware or embedded systems exposure
