PING, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the role of Test Engineer. The Test Engineer works within PING Engineering to develop and execute tests that verify hard goods requirements, confirm quality, and deliver data-backed evidence to guide design decisions. This role is responsible for maintaining and modernizing test methodologies to ensure they reflect current practice, produce meaningful outputs, and remain stable and statistically capable. As a service-oriented engineering partner, the Test Engineer supports internal customers through effective test methods, systems, processes, and equipment, as well as analysis that informs risk-based engineering decisions. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

Qualifications:
BS in Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline from an accredited university. Internship, co-op, or up to 2 years of directly related experience is preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.
Ability to develop clear test standards and train operators in method execution.
Knowledge of measurement systems and metrology principles.
Experience with CAD tools; PTC Creo is preferred.
Strength in statistical analysis, data analytics, and experimental methods such as DOE and R&R.
Skill in software development and tools such as Python, C++, and R is preferred.
Working knowledge of golf-related manufacturing and assembly processes, such as casting, forging, composites, adhesives, and tool design, is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to create technical documentation and present complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and project execution skills, with the ability to manage and complete technical work effectively.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a key technical resource within PING Engineering to develop and execute requirements verification tests for hard goods.
Provides end-to-end testing support by providing technical knowledge, executing tests, and communicating results.
Develops, validates, and continuously improves test methods with defined inputs, outputs and objective acceptance criteria.
Maintains measurement system integrity and process stability using statistical analysis to ensure test processes remain in control and results are reliable.
Applies statistical methods to quantify precision, identify sources of bias, and improve interpretation of test data.
Develops CAD-based equipment/fixturing solutions and ensures their effective integration and documentation within the test environment.
Maintains lab readiness by supporting test scheduling, ensuring availability of required consumables, and driving equipment maintenance and calibration strategies.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant methods, tools, and technical developments.
Requires occasional domestic travel and rare international travel.
