Job Description
Seeking a Test Engineer - Unmanned Systems (UxS) to support the testing, evaluation, and fielding of multi-domain unmanned systems (e.g. air, ground, and maritime).
This hands-on role focuses on validating system performance, ensuring operational readiness, and supporting rapid fielding of emerging UxS technologies in laboratory and realistic operational environments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technical, and comfortable working in dynamic field settings.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute testing of multi-domain Unmanned Systems (UxS) in lab, controlled, and field environments to evaluate performance against requirements
Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to assess system reliability, interoperability, safety, and effectiveness
Prepare clear, concise test plans, reports, data summaries, and after-action reviews documenting findings and recommendations
Collaborate with engineering, integration, and program teams to identify issues, troubleshoot anomalies, and implement corrective actions
Support UxS fielding events, exercises, demonstrations, and customer evaluations, including setup, execution, and teardown at test ranges and forward locations
Serve as alternate pilot/operator for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) during testing activities
Track test outcomes, risks, and deficiencies to support program decision-making and continuous improvement
Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and mission-driven test schedules
