Overview
We are hiring a Test Engineer to support the verification and validation of mechanisms designed for high-reliability space applications. This role involves leading test campaigns, improving test processes, and contributing directly to product readiness for spacecraft-level integration.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and oversee mechanical and environmental testing of flight mechanisms.
Develop test plans, procedures, tooling, documentation, and acceptance criteria.
Provide feedback to design teams to improve manufacturability and integration efficiency.
Support design and system trade studies regarding testability, workflow, and production speed.
Compile detailed test reports based on data analysis and team observations.
Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations of test failures or anomalies.
Contribute manufacturing engineering support to ongoing production.
Qualifications
Engineering degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
Preferably 2 years or more in aerospace or a similar technical environment.
Experience with mechanism development, environmental testing, or precision hardware.
Strong communication skills and ability to function in dynamic, multidisciplinary teams.
Must meet eligibility requirements to work in the US.
