Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive, mechanically inclined Quality, Test & Compliance Engineer to support our global operations and drive continuous improvement across our products, systems, and manufacturing processes. This is a highly hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and is comfortable working at a computer, in a test lab, and right on the production floor. Every team member here has a voice, a stake, and a meaningful impact on the products we build and the rescue professionals we serve.
What You Will Do:
Partner closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to diagnose, test, and resolve a wide range of product and process challenges.
Evaluate components firsthand, perform functional and validation testing, assess tolerances and fit, and investigate failures at their source.
Lead thorough root cause investigations and develop effective corrective and preventive actions to ensure product excellence.
Translate production insights and data into sustainable engineering and quality improvements.
Design, fabricate, and maintain inspection fixtures, gauges, and test equipment to support automation and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
Five to seven years of experience in manufacturing, inspection, or quality assurance environments.
Extensive hands-on capability in working with tools, machines, and equipment.
A strong understanding of dimensional inspection, functional testing, and defect identification.
Experience with nonconformance reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Proficiency in machining, fabrication, welding, and fixture design.
The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
