Job Title: Test Engineer
Location: Fremont, CA
Duration: 24-Month Contract
Pay Range: $70/hr -$80/hr on W2 (DOE)
Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of automated test systems for product development and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python-based test automation, test stand development, hardware validation, and troubleshooting complex systems.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement automated test solutions using Python.
Create and deploy test stands, fixtures, and diagnostic equipment.
Develop test plans, procedures, and technical documentation.
Execute testing, analyze results, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Support product validation, manufacturing testing, and system integration activities.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
Follow industry best practices for test stand development and deployment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Experience in test engineering, test development, or hardware validation.
Strong Python programming and test automation experience.
Hands-on experience developing and deploying test stands or test fixtures.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Experience creating technical documentation, test procedures, and reports.
Ability to work in a fast-paced product development and manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor, capital equipment, electronics, or manufacturing industries.
Familiarity with instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and automated test equipment.
Knowledge of manufacturing test processes and product qualification testing.
