Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a clean energy technology organization, is seeking a skilled Test Engineer. This role is responsible for developing and executing validation activities, supporting hardware and charging system testing, and analyzing test data to ensure product performance and reliability. The position will also contribute to test fixture development, instrumentation setup, and troubleshooting efforts throughout the verification process.
All Candidates MUST be able to work on our w2 with no restrictions.

Job Duties:
Assist in the development of test plans, procedures, and execution strategies
Perform system-level and component-level testing on electrical and charging-related equipment
Instrument test assets using thermocouples, voltage probes, current transducers, and other measurement devices
Create and maintain test documentation, including test instructions, specifications, verification plans, and technical drawings
Design, build, and modify test fixtures to support validation activities
Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to evaluate system performance and compliance
Investigate test failures and perform hands-on root cause analysis to identify corrective actions
Support troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and electrical system issues identified during testing
Skills & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline from an accredited university
2+ years of experience in a test engineering, validation, or related role
Experience executing and maintaining system-level and component-level test programs
Hands-on hardware testing experience in electrical or electromechanical systems
Experience working with medium- and high-voltage systems up to 1000VDC
Proficiency using data loggers and data acquisition (DAQ) systems
Experience with electrical measurement equipment including voltage, current, and temperature instrumentation
Ability to create technical test documentation, specifications, and verification plans
Desired:
Experience testing EV charging systems, power electronics, or energy systems
Familiarity with test fixture design and fabrication
Experience analyzing large datasets from validation or verification testing
Knowledge of electrical safety practices for high-voltage environments
Experience using CAD tools to create or modify test-related drawings
Exposure to environmental, reliability, or performance testing methodologies
