Role - Test Automation Specialist

Location – US(Remote)

We are looking for a highly skilled Cypress Automation Test Engineer who can lead automation initiatives across agile PODs while also supporting framework setup, delivery leadership, and team enablement/training activities. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Cypress automation and experience driving automation adoption across modern web applications and API ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Cypress
Lead automation delivery for one or more agile PODs and ensure high-quality execution
Mentor and train team members on Cypress automation best practices and framework adoption
Define automation standards, reusable components, coding guidelines, and governance processes
Build and execute UI and API automation test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QE teams to support shift-left testing practices
Support automation strategy for regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing
Analyze automation gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, defect triage, and release validation activities
Work closely with offshore/onshore teams to ensure delivery alignment and quality outcomes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Cypress automation (mandatory)
Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing frameworks
Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
Experience with API automation and validation
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery models
Experience leading automation efforts within POD-based delivery structures
Hands-on experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Good understanding of test design, debugging, reporting, and automation best practices
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Salary of $120,000 - $130,000 annually.
