Test Automation Lead/Test Manager

About The Role

As a Test Automation Lead/Test Manager, you will make an impact by designing and developing scalable, secure, and maintainable automation and Gen AI solutions. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering and Automation team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and junior engineers to drive innovation and excellence in testing practices.

In This Role, You Will

Lead the design and development of test automation frameworks and solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Develop and maintain Gen AI solutions, including integration with tools like Copilot.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decision-making processes.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all projects.

Work Model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC. What You Need To Have To Be Considered

Strong experience in test automation using Java, Selenium, Gherkin, Git, and GitHub.
Hands-on experience with Python-based automation frameworks.
Proven experience in developing Gen AI solutions, including usage of Copilot.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Experience in client communication and stakeholder management.
