Role Automation Test lead 7+ years experience
Mandatory Skills Katalon with Groovy scripting API Scripting PC Insurance Domain Experience
1 Strong Knowledge on P and C Insurance Domain with hands on in PAS Billing and Claims
2 Proficient in PAS system Testing with minimum of 7 years
3 Minimum Experience 10 yrs in Software Testing Quality Assurance
4 Should be able to Develop and execute test cases scripts plans and procedures manual and automated Should be able to review test cases following the review process
5 Should possess strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with quick adaptation to new technology methodologies and systems
6 Should be able to triage Defects and perform Root Cause analysis on Defects
7 Proficient in Test Management Tools Rally JIRA HPQC VSTS TFS
8 Should have Detailed and effective written and verbal communication skills
9 Respond to all requests from internal and client team members in a timely professional manner
10 Comfortable in handling Automation as well as Manual test case execution
11 Mentor Test Team and coordinate with BAtech Leads and crosspods
12 Experience in Framework Designing
13 Evaluate and suggest frameworks that are fit for purpose to expand the automation suite architecture
14 Identify TestsScenarios for automation
15 Build Maintain Automated Test Scripts and also prepare Test Results Reports and Publish them
16 Should be able to track the Project Metrics relevant to Automation and also prepare Test StrategyPlans to achieve the milestone on time
Must Have
a Katalon hands on experience along with Framework design
b API test Hands on Experience
c Core Java Python hands on Experience
d Hands on experience with CICD pipeline implementationSCM Tool JenkinsGIT
e Well versed with Agile Methodology
f Proficient in Core JavaGroovy Scripting
g Sound Knowledge of Testing Framework CucumberTestNG
h Sound knowledge on Database concepts and hands on writing basiccomplex SQL queries
i Good Experience in handling headless Automation
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSRESPONSIBILITIES
Works within QA team to develop and implement automation scripts
Participates in functional walkthroughs
Participates in the analysis of new requirements and uses cases to develop test approach and deliverables test approach architecture scenarios test conditions test cases test data and expected results
Conducts adhoc and exploratory testing
Participates in the development of test coverage approach and maintains test plan in test management tool
Develops custom tools utilities or approaches as required to test the application and features for functional and nonfunctional requirements
Evaluates system behavior prior to and during load tests
Enter test cases analyzes results and documents defects in defect tracking tool
Participates in the release management and quality process to validate those solutions meet business requirements
Participates in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards
Perform other related activities and duties as required
