Telephony/SIP Developer (Go or C++)
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team and play a key role in developing high-quality telephony and communication software used by customers worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build, and maintain backend services for the core telephony platform, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and performance
Develop primarily in Go approximately 90% of the time, with some exposure to other backend languages (e.g., C/C++; Python as needed), and we use Cursor
Approximately, you will spend 50% to 60% on coding /technical development, 20% on peer code review, 15% to 25% on architecture, and 5% on miscellaneous
Build and evolve SIP-based telephony services and supporting real-time communication components
Collaborate closely with engineers on system design, architecture, and delivery of new features and improvements
Participate actively in code reviews, contributing to high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across telephony, networking, and distributed systems
Write clean, well-documented code with appropriate automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
This is a direct-hire position, and the work is 100% remote if you are based in the US or Canada. We offer a 401(k) match and unlimited PTO.
