•8+ years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML platforms, or software engineering
•3-5 years in technical leadership or people management roles supporting production machine learning and AI driven applications
•Strong understanding of ML lifecycles, model dependencies, and operational risks
•Experience analyzing data using Code Workbook, Contour, and Quiver

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Technical Team Leader – Palantir (Production AI) who combines strong people leadership with hands-on technical expertise to lead, support and scale our Production AI on Palantir Foundry platform.
This role is ideal for a player-coach leader who ensures that AI models, data pipelines, and Foundry applications operate reliably in production, while also managing a team delivering / supporting mission-critical AI and data solutions. The individual will drive both Run-the-Business (RTB) and help Change-the-Business (CTB) initiatives, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable Production AI.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Serve as technical lead for Production AI incidents, ensuring timely resolution
•Oversee & participate in L2/ L3 production support for Palantir Foundry AI and data platforms
•Monitor, triage, and remediate Foundry pipelines, AI workflows, and model health checks
•Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Palantir engineers
•Contributes to development, and optimization of data pipelines and AI workflows in Palantir Foundry
•Support deployment, operation, and lifecycle management of machine learning models
•Ensure data quality, model reliability, security, and compliance
•Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high impact AI and data solutions
•Maintain runbooks and SOPs for AI pipelines and model operations
•Design, build, and maintain data and feature pipelines using Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories
•Establish data connections, build AI and data health monitors, and analyze lineage
•Participate in 24x7 support rotations for mission critical AI systems
•Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement actions
•Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and data scientists

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED
•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
•8+ years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML platforms, or software engineering
•3-5 years in technical leadership or people management roles supporting production machine learning and AI driven applications
•Strong understanding of ML lifecycles, model dependencies, and operational risks
•Experience analyzing data using Code Workbook, Contour, and Quiver

•Languages: Python, SQL, TypeScript
•Frameworks: PySpark
•Platforms: Palantir Foundry (AI & ML workloads)
•Data & AI Tools: Pipeline Builder, Data Connections, Code Repos, Contour, Quiver, Workshop
•Experience supporting AI pipelines, feature stores, and model inference workflows
•ITIL / ServiceNow experience for production operations
•Strong ownership mindset, problem solving aptitude, and ability to challenge the status quo
•Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
•Ability to balance hands-on technical work with team leadership

•Deep experience with Palantir Foundry for Production AI
•Experience operating ML models at scale (monitoring, retraining, performance tuning)
•Familiarity with ML frameworks (scikit learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
•Experience with AI governance, model explainability, and compliance
•Palantir certifications (Foundry Application Developer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst)
