Are you the best LabVIEW programmer you know? We want to talk to you about building our new dyno test cell.
Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer to join our manufacturing engineering team and take ownership of a critical new project: standing up a state-of-the-art dyno test cell. This is a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact by designing, developing, and deploying automated instrumentation and control systems that drive our production forward. If you are passionate about automation, thrive in a dynamic factory environment, and want to see the direct results of your work on the shop floor, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
Lead the setup and operation of a new dyno test cell, interfacing heavily with National Instruments systems including cDAQ-9189 chassis, data modules, and various sensors.
Provide comprehensive hardware and software systems engineering support for measurement, control, and test systems across the facility.
Develop and implement robust LabVIEW programming to read, manipulate, and analyze data from instruments and transducers.
Select, install, operate, and maintain appropriate instrumentation for diverse production and testing processes.
Collaborate closely with shop floor personnel, manufacturing engineers, product engineering, quality engineering, and maintenance staff to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, though an Associate's degree with strong relevant experience is equally valued.
2+ years of hands-on programming experience with National Instruments LabVIEW.
A strong background in manufacturing, automotive, energy, or pharmaceutical automation environments.
Join a team with a 120-year legacy of innovation in the exciting aviation and aerospace industry. We offer a collaborative culture guided by our core values of transparency, efficiency, accountability, and morality. If you are ready to make a tangible impact and grow your career with us, apply now!
