Preferred Qualifications: Areas of Expertise (The More, The Better)
3-6 years of experience in System Power & Performance Validation/Analysis in Mobile, Compute, IoT, Automotive, or Consumer Electronics domains.
Good understanding of SoC Power & Performance concepts, workload behavior, and performance-per-watt analysis.
Hands-on experience analyzing CPU, GPU, AI/ML, and system-level workloads using industry-standard benchmarks and profiling tools.
Familiarity with SoC power states, low-power modes, sleep/idle states, DVFS, thermal management, and power management features.
Experience measuring and analyzing CPU, memory, Infra and platform power consumption on a rail-by-rail basis.
Hands-on experience with power measurement and lab equipment such as NI DAQ, oscilloscopes, DMMs, current probes, and bench power supplies.
Basic understanding of PMICs, power rails, BUCK/LDO regulators, power delivery networks (PDN), and battery-powered systems.
Experience with power KPI collection, use-case power measurements, standby/idle power analysis, and low-power validation.
Exposure to post-silicon validation, board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Familiarity with JTAG, CPU profilers, ARM Developer Studio, or equivalent debug and profiling tools.
Understanding of ARM-based processor architecture, memory hierarchy, cache concepts, and system performance bottlenecks.
Working knowledge of Linux/Android environments, ADB, shell scripting, and Python-based automation.
Analyze the data and recommend changes to SOC Architecture & Competitive Analysis & Product Positioning
Experience collecting and analyzing logs, traces, and performance data to identify power and performance issues.
Good analytical, debugging, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.

Ideal candidates should possess hands-on experience in power and performance validation, workload analysis, power measurements, and system-level debugging. Exposure to CPU/GPU/AI workloads, Linux/Android environments, rail-level power analysis, automation using Python, and post-silicon validation is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable working in a lab environment, analyzing performance data, debugging issues, and feedback to Qualcomm SOC Architecture.
