Texas Instruments (TI) is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer in Santa Clara, California. At TI Systems Engineers are involved and influence customer’s new portal power product definition (RFI/RFP).
Responsibilities Include
Use portable power system expertise to provide technical advice/opinions to TI’s design team and to the customer.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between the customer and TI designers on complex highly customized power device definition and circuit/system tradeoffs.
Identify good strategic and high-quality projects to meet our project investment objectives. Carry out customer EE BOM analysis and market trends assumption.
As an experienced CO (Chip Owner)/System DRI, lead major projects that cut across company boundaries (organizational, regional, and technical discipline).
Complete competition research and analysis and use in depth understanding of TI’s technologies and product capability to provide a good sense of what TI can deliver.
Act as the “go-to-person” for any system question/help for both customer and teammates.
Utilize highly developed bench-top skill to support and guide the team with Si debug and Validation on bench.
Lead collaboration with other TI PLs or central groups to identify future IP, process, and packaging needs.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues and junior engineers.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 3 years of experience in power electronics systems, applications or validation engineering in semiconductor industry.
Experience to include 2 years in switching converter PMIC silicon validation and lab debug.
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay range for this role is shown below.
Pay Range: $187,000 - $200,000
