Responsibilities:
Analyze vehicle electrical/electronic systems and interactions across Body, Audio, Chassis, Safety, and Connectivity features.
Perform specification analysis, system validation, and functional verification to ensure design requirements are met.
Analyze test results, reproduce issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
Execute and support testing on PWB, HIL, VHIL, and vehicle platforms following EE validation processes.
Troubleshoot ECUs, CAN/LIN networks, HIL systems, and vehicle electrical architectures using diagnostic and lab tools.
Utilize CANoe/CANalyzer, oscilloscopes, multimeters, current probes, and other debugging tools for system analysis.
Collaborate with feature owners, validation teams, suppliers, and engineering teams to identify defects and improve system performance.
Generate technical reports, document incidents, support OTA update validation, and drive continuous improvement of test methods and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in EE, ECE, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
Strong knowledge of vehicle EE systems including Body, Audio, Chassis, Safety, and Connectivity domains.
Knowledge in HIL/VHIL platforms and tools such as dSPACE, CANoe, CANalyzer, ControlDesk, and ETAS.
Proficiency in automotive networks including CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and UDS diagnostics.
Experience in ECU integration, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, Python, CAPL, test automation, and CI/CD-based validation environments.
Strong debugging skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, CAN tools, wiring diagrams, sensors, actuators, DBC, and AUTOSAR arXML.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, OTA updates
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
Ability to identify root causes through systematic analysis
Capacity to work through complex electrical system problems
Experience in any of the domains (ADAS/Body Electronics /Infotainment/Battery Management Systems (BMS))
