System Design & Test Engineer

Role: System Design & Test Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA(Onsite)
Seeking a System Design & Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in hardware design, board-level testing, and electrical validation. The engineer will design custom test fixtures, integrate test instruments, develop test plans, and validate Apple products from prototype through mass production.
Key Skills:
Analog, digital, and power electronics hardware design
Schematic and PCB layout using Allegro or similar CAD tools
Design/debug complex electrical circuits and PCB layouts
Test fixture and custom test instrument design
USB 3.2, USB-PD, DisplayPort, PCIe, I2C, SPI
Product/system-level hardware validation and diagnostics
Test plan development, execution, and process control
Parametric data collection and statistical analysis: CPK, GR&R
Manufacturing test station validation and Contract Manufacturer coordination
Firmware/FPGA test integration preferred
Technical leadership, cross-functional communication, and project management
Willingness to travel up to 20%
Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
