What You Will Be Doing

As the Subsystem Design & Installation Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing installation solutions for aircraft equipment and systems on the F‑35 program.

"Your responsibilities will include:"

Design the installation of aircraft equipment for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and associated hardware; design aircraft tubes and harness assemblies for Fuel, Hydraulic, and Environmental Control Systems; design installation of aircraft fluid routing and associated bracketry.
Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives, optimizing form, fit, and function of the equipment installations.
Define, develop, and finalize equipment layouts and systems and harness interfaces.
Create Build‑to‑Packages for detailed parts, assemblies, and installations.
Coordinate with other technical disciplines for optimized integration at the aircraft level, including producibility, maintainability, tooling, interchangeability, materials & processes, and stress considerations.

Experience with aircraft fluid or electrical installation design and troubleshooting
Experience with CATIA V5
Experience with metallic design
Experience creating and/or modifying drawings
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
