Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool

Job Description

You will be the Structures Design Engineer for the Airframe Structures Team which is responsible for developing and validating aircraft structural solutions for the F‑22 program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Structures Design Engineer you will be responsible for applying technical expertise to create and refine structural designs that enable mission‑critical performance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
Contributing to the development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs.
Design, development, and finalization of structural and mechanical layouts with systems interfaces.
Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Desired Skills

Experience with 3DX or CATIA V5
Experience with metallic and composite design
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with structural analysis for preliminary sizing
