We are seeking a dynamic Structural Professional Engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge material handling solutions.
Job Summary:
As Licensed Structural Professional Engineer, you will work with a team of design engineers performing a variety of design tasks overseeing structural design and execution of industrial material handling projects. You will contribute to design fulfillment and coordinate directly with customers, vendors, consultants, and the engineering team to oversee design work for projects throughout the United States and internationally. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for innovation in engineering processes.

Responsibilities:
Coordination – Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, operations, and sales. Interface with subcontractors, clients, and vendors.
Design and analysis - Design foundations and structural steel to support silos, buildings, mechanical equipment and platforms ensuring compliance with codes and standards required for the project. Check designs produced by fellow engineers. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture within the engineering team. Contribute to the overall design concepts for material handling systems and process plants.
Drafting – Prepare structural drawings and check drawings produced by fellow engineers.
Investigation – Perform field inspection and measurement. Resolve and document field / shop issues. Travel to project sites and fabricators to verify compliance with approved design documents. (Travel >5%)

Professional Requirements and Experience:
Licensed Professional Engineer
Bachelors of Science or better from ABET accredited university
5+ years experience in the engineering field
2-3 years project management experience preferred
Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Technical Experience Desired
· Mechanical equipment sizing and layout experience
· Experience with mechanical conveying or piping systems
· Experience with electrical and controls systems
