For our client, we are seeking a Staff Systems Engineer - Release Strategy & Validation to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $168,800 – $202,600 annually
Responsibilities
Lead the verification and validation lifecycle with a comprehensive V&V test plan
Create a state-of-the-art verification and validation strategy across multiple testing environments
Define release strategies and identify associated risks with solutions
Review test results and tool qualifications supporting V&V claims
Communicate critical gaps in traceability and test completeness to leadership
Guide teams in applying safety testing methodologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in execution
Qualifications
Master's Degree in a relevant field with 7+ years of experience, or Bachelor's with 10+ years
Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in technical systems or software development
At least 2 years leading engineers in safety-critical software development
Experience launching safety-critical commercial products
Familiarity with complex embedded systems, especially in autonomous driving contexts
