We are seeking a highly skilled BSR Engineer to join our NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) team. In this role, you will advance NVH performance in our vehicles, emphasizing Buzz, Squeak, and Rattle (BSR) issues, while leading efforts to support advanced diagnostics and predictive modeling.
What You'll Do
Conduct NVH testing and analysis on vehicle components to identify and resolve BSR issues across prototypes and production vehicles
Perform simulations, bench testing, and on-road evaluations to validate BSR improvements using accelerometers, microphones, and data acquisition systems
Establish and maintain a high-precision catalog of BSR occurrences by reviewing, labeling, and categorizing audio and sensor data for engineering reference
Collaborate on process improvement projects to explore innovative noise evaluation methods using categorized data
Analyze test data to recommend design changes that minimize NVH issues while balancing performance, cost, and sustainability goals
Support cross-functional teams in integrating BSR solutions into vehicle design and manufacturing processes
Develop detailed reports and guidelines based on testing outcomes to drive continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an NVH engineer with expertise in diagnosing and resolving buzz, squeak, and rattle issues
Strong auditory skills with exceptional attention to detail for identifying subtle noise issues
Interest in workflow automation, scripting, or emerging engineering technologies to modernize testing methods
Proficiency with NVH testing equipment and software such as Dewesoft, LMS Test.Lab, or BK Pulse
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to root cause complex NVH phenomena and propose effective solutions
Experience in electric vehicle NVH development is preferred

Expected Compensation
$91,600 - $316,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
