We are seeking an experienced Physical Design Flow Expert to enhance and streamline Physical Design methodologies, automation infrastructure, and execution flows across complex SoC programs. This role is focused on improving flow usability, execution efficiency, and automation enablement in close collaboration with CAD, Physical Design, STA teams and methodology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with CAD and implementation teams to enhance and optimize existing Physical Design flows and methodologies.
Identify execution bottlenecks and propose practical flow improvements for better QoR, runtime, and scalability.
Drive automation initiatives across Physical Design stages including FLoorplanning, PnR, STA, ECO execution
Develop utilities, scripts, and frameworks using Tcl, Python , Shell & Perl scipring
Work closely with PD and STA teams to standardize best practices and improve execution consistency.
Support MCMM timing closure and signoff tracking across projects.
Debug flow-related issues and coordinate with CAD teams for fixes and enhancements.
Improve usability and robustness of implementation flows across multiple designs and technology nodes.
Position Requirement :
Education: B.Tech/M.Tech (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 8+ years experience
Strong understanding of end-to-end Physical Design flow and signoff methodology.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Innovous, FC, Primetime, Tempus
Good understanding of , STA concepts, MCMM flows, DRV closure & Timing/debug methodologies
Strong scripting and automation skills: Tcl , Python , Unix/Linux shell scripting
Experience in dashboard/report development and data visualization.
