Staff Engineer – Medical Devices & Endoluminal Systems
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Staff Engineer to support the development of innovative medical device products and complex technical subsystems. This individual will play a key technical role on product development programs, leading focused technical projects and contributing directly to engineering execution, design, and problem solving.
The ideal candidate brings strong medical device product development experience, particularly in endoluminal or endoscopy-related consumable devices, along with excellent technical depth, hands-on engineering capability, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities
Lead technical projects or complex subsystem development efforts from concept through commercialization.
Contribute directly to product design, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and technical problem solving.
Develop innovative engineering solutions for minimally invasive and endoluminal medical device applications.
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, clinical, and program teams.
Support system architecture, design reviews, risk assessments, and verification/validation activities.
Analyze technical challenges, identify root causes, and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
Participate in iterative prototyping and hands-on product development activities.
Support development of consumable devices and endoscopic product platforms.
Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
8–12 years of engineering experience in the medical device industry.
Strong hands-on engineering and product development experience.
Demonstrated success leading technical projects or complex subsystem development efforts.
Experience with endoluminal, endoscopic, minimally invasive, or consumable medical devices.
Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience working in cross-functional product development environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Adaptable, detail-oriented, and team-focused with a strong ownership mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience with medical robotics or robotic-assisted medical systems.
Background in endoscopy product development.
Experience with catheter-based systems, disposable devices, or precision mechanical assemblies.
Familiarity with regulated medical device development processes.
