We are looking for a motivated SRAM Characterization Engineer to join our semiconductor engineering team and contribute to the development, characterization, and validation of high-performance SRAM memory IP for advanced technology nodes. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about memory design, characterization methodologies, and physical verification, and who are eager to build a strong foundation in VLSI memory development.

As an SRAM Characterization Engineer, you will work closely with memory design, circuit design, physical design, and CAD teams to characterize SRAM macros, generate timing and power libraries, validate memory performance across multiple process-voltage-temperature (PVT) corners, and ensure compliance with design and manufacturing requirements. You will also participate in physical verification activities, including Design Rule Checking (DRC), while supporting the delivery of production-ready memory IP for SoC integration.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools, semiconductor design flows, and advanced memory technologies in a collaborative engineering environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Perform SRAM characterization across multiple Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) corners
Generate and validate timing, power, and functional .lib libraries for SRAM macros
Support characterization flow development and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy
Execute Design Rule Checking (DRC) and assist in resolving physical verification issues
Validate SRAM functionality, timing, leakage, and power characteristics using industry-standard characterization tools
Collaborate with circuit design, layout, CAD, and physical design teams to optimize memory performance
Analyze characterization results and identify opportunities for performance and power optimization
Assist in debugging characterization failures and verification issues during memory development
Maintain technical documentation, characterization reports, and design collateral
Contribute to continuous improvement of memory characterization methodologies, verification processes, and automation frameworks
Support integration of characterized SRAM IP into larger SoC designs while ensuring quality and reliability standards

What Makes You a Great Fit

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, VLSI, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of SRAM architecture, memory fundamentals, and semiconductor design concepts
Knowledge of SRAM characterization methodologies and .lib generation
Familiarity with Design Rule Checking (DRC) and physical verification concepts
Understanding of CMOS technology, digital circuit design, and timing analysis fundamentals
Exposure to EDA tools used for memory characterization, physical verification, or library generation is an advantage
Basic scripting knowledge using Python, Perl, Shell, or Tcl is desirable for automation tasks
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment
Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn advanced semiconductor memory design and characterization techniques
Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects or internship experience in SRAM design, memory characterization, or physical verification are encouraged to apply
