We are seeking an experienced Sr Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of test development, test engineering, and solution deployment for a Foundry Test Organization. In this role you will assess operational, economic, and technical requirements of test solutions. Additionally, you will define engagement strategies, work with internal teams, and external suppliers to deliver test solutions that support the foundry business. The ideal candidate is a multidisciplinary engineer with experience spanning mechanical, thermal, and electrical domains. The candidate will serve as an advocate for customer requirements, ensuring they are understood and translated into actionable technical solutions with internal teams and throughout the supply chain. This role requires the ability to synthesize complex technical challenges into clear strategies and execution plans that can be implemented by cross-functional teams on aggressive timelines. This role will provide technical leadership in a dynamic environment, drive accountability, results, and advise management on future trends, risks, and opportunities affecting the test foundry business. The candidate should have experience evaluating and integrating test solutions across a range of scenarios including; custom, semi-custom, and industry standard test solutions. Strong communication skills are required, as this role will require articulating a clear vision and capability roadmap to customers, internal stakeholders, and industry partners. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of solutions for the foundry test organization from concept definition through integration, deployment, and sustaining. • Define technical requirements and engagement strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders, customers, and external supply partners. • Translate complex customer and business needs into clear engineering strategies, execution plans, and deliverables. • Provide multidisciplinary technical leadership across mechanical, thermal, and electrical domains to ensure robust and scalable solutions. • Serve as the technical advocate for customer requirements, ensuring alignment across internal teams and the supply chain. • Evaluate and influence solution design, development, and integration approaches, including custom, semi-custom, and indsutry standard solutions. • Drive cross-functional execution on aggressive timelines while maintaining quality, risk awareness, and accountability. • Identify technical risks, emerging trends, and capability gaps; recommend mitigation strategies and future-state solutions. • Collaborate with suppliers and industry partners to assess technical feasibility, optimized solutions, and resolution of complex issues. • Communicate technical vision, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to management, peers, customers, and external partners. • Support decision-making by developing recommendations based on engineering analysis, business priorities, and operational constraints. • Contribute to long-term technology roadmaps and capability planning for the foundry test business.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Applied Physics. • 10+ Years experience leading teams in the development and deployment of semiconductor test solutions into manufacturing.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $211,400.00-298,440.00 USD
