About The Role
As a Sr. Staff System DVT Automation Engineer, the successful candidate will be part of the systems engineering team that is responsible for defining, integrating, and testing the systems behavior for Enphase’s energy solutions.
We are looking for Electrical Engineering graduates at BE/BTech or ME/MTech levels. Candidates those have hands-on when it comes to working with or creating electrical / electronic systems. This includes being familiar with both HW and FW.
What you will be doing
Oversee the DVT execution plan and provide technical direction to the DVT Engineers
Conduct Design verification test (DVT) to assure full coverage of Ensemble grid agnostic system design that includes micro inverter, AC batteries, Smart Switch and IOT Gateway with Could and mobile app support
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for both software and hardware systems DVT
Developing automation scripts using Python that controls lab instruments like Grid simulator, Power Analyzer, Oscilloscope, SAS, Programmable loads and other Enphase products
Troubleshoot the system failures encountered during DVT and analyze root cause for the failures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify the requirements and design effective test strategies for integrated systems
Database management for test results, test data analysis either manually or using python-based data analysis script
Responsible for documentation of test plan and test reports
Who You Are And What You Bring
BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electrical/Electronic engineering with 12+ years of experience in Power Electronics or power system design verification test and Automation
Hands-on experience with electrical and electronics systems
Good understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and Electrical system
Hands-on experience in Python based automation framework including lab instruments Drivers (Grid Simulators, AC source, Power meter/Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Electronics Loads, PDU, Switch matrix etc)
Experience on TCP/IP, Serial (RS485, USB) and CAN communication protocol scripts
Good communication skills
Analytical, decision making and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Desire and passion to change the world
Understanding of energy storage, micro grid and renewable energy systems
Experience in Inverter, UPS, Power Electronic circuits design and troubleshooting
Hands-on Experience in handling the lab electronic equipment
Knowledge in Lithium Ion based Energy storage systems, Battery management system
Experience in grid tied inverter validation and advance grid profile functions
Electrical system automation using Python scripts
