What You'll Do as the Sr. Project Engineer, Capital Projects:

Build project scopes, budgets, timelines, and ROI models to support capital investment decisions
Partner with operations, maintenance, production, and leadership to prioritize and execute strategic projects
Oversee technical reviews of equipment layouts, specifications, and installation plans
Help ensure equipment is selected and designed for harsh-duty industrial environments involving weight, vibration, force, and wear
Mentor and develop project engineers and other technical team members
Support continuous improvement efforts across engineering and operations
Sr. Project Engineer, Capital Projects Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Strong background in equipment installation, retrofit, commissioning, and capital project execution
Experience leading capital projects in the $2M to $10M range
Ability to develop ROI, payback, and project justification models for major equipment investments
Prior leadership experience, including direct supervision, mentoring, or development of at least one engineer or technical team member
Strong working knowledge of manufacturing process improvement, plant equipment integration, and industrial project management
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across plant leadership and cross-functional teams
Nice-to-Haves as the Sr. Project Engineer, Capital Projects:

Experience with induction furnace projects or other major thermal process equipment
Exposure to automation, robotics, pick-and-place systems, vibratory equipment, mixers, blenders, or other heavy process equipment
Experience working in older facilities where new systems must be integrated into legacy plant layouts
PMP certification or formal project management training
Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
Our Client Offers:
A visible leadership role tied to major plant investment and modernization efforts
The chance to shape equipment strategy, capital planning, and engineering execution
Relocation support, including temporary housing and lump-sum assistance
A stable and well-funded manufacturing environment
Strong benefits package including healthcare, retirement, paid time off, and holidays
A safety-first and environmentally responsible culture
Leadership development and structured training for people leaders
