**The Position**
Duties and Responsibilities
Support business development by leading proposal writing efforts and by providing technical expertise
Lead the development of technologies enabling new Microsystems
Carry out numerical simulations on various finite element software
Lead prototype design and evaluation efforts
Support foundry transition of products
Contribute to the further development of the engineering teams through continual improvement initiatives.
Analyze a problem as part of research or as part of solution designing for the companys portfolio of services/products.
Validate an idea, strategy, approach, or solution by conducting testing, development, or demonstration.
Create and develop documentation related to the department's work process.
Implement process and procedure to ensure efficiency.
Proactively explore technologies that will be useful to the company.
Proactively conduct innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
Basic
10 years of relevant experience. In the absence of any degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
2-3 years of printing polymers on MEMS resonators
2-3 years of experience using the NanoScribe
Experience microfabricating technology in cleanroom and/or chemical laboratory setting environments.
