What You'll Do
Execute and analyze electrochemical and cell characterization methods
Design, develop, and execute experiments and analysis for evaluating a variety of electrode, electrolyte, anode and cathode materials for Li-ion batteries. This may include material, mechanical, and/or electrochemical methods
Screen, test, and analyze performance and quality metrics of sample materials provided by current and prospective vendors
Maintain high standards of quality data outputs with statistical relevance through continuous process and equipment improvements and upkeep
Plan, prioritize, and communicate status of lab testing activities to hit project deadlines
Maintenance of analytical equipment and cell test channels
What You'll Bring
Degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in lithium-ion cell design
Familiarity with electrochemical methods and cell testing
Experience in material, electrode, and/or cell fabrication
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to communicate and consolidate information across multiple stakeholders and teams
Experience with taking a product or design from concept to manufacturing is a plus

Expected Compensation
$91,600 - $195,600/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
