Quest Global delivers world-class end-to-end engineering solutions by leveraging our deep industry knowledge and digital expertise. By bringing together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals and their areas of expertise, we are able to solve problems better, faster. This multi-dimensional approach enables us to solve the most critical and large-scale challenges across the aerospace & defense, automotive, energy, hi-tech, healthcare, medical devices, rail and semiconductor industries.

We are looking for humble geniuses, who believe that engineering has the potential to make the impossible possible; innovators, who are not only inspired by technology and innovation, but also perpetually driven to design, develop, and test as a trusted partner for Fortune 500 customers. As a team of remarkably diverse engineers, we recognize that what we are really engineering is a brighter future for us all. If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.

The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:

What You Will Do

The Hardware Validation & Integration Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and qualification of complex digital hardware systems. This role spans signal integrity testing and analysis, hardware bring‑up, environmental validation, cross‑functional debugging, and sustaining engineering support. The engineer will collaborate closely with firmware, FPGA, manufacturing, and system integration teams to drive high‑quality hardware releases from prototype through production.

Job Description

Design and develop Python-based test automation frameworks for FPGA qualification, regression testing, and data collection, improving test coverage, repeatability, and execution efficiency.
Drive reliability growth initiatives by analyzing field and lab failures, identifying failure trends, implementing corrective actions, and validating improvements through structured testing and qualification efforts.
Analyze test results and reliability data, identify failure modes, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend design, manufacturing, or process improvements to enhance product reliability.
Manage the build, maintenance, configuration, and continuous improvement of engineering targets with hardware platforms used for product development and verification activities.
Provide target-level and bay-level technical support, troubleshooting the hardware, firmware and FPGA issues to ensure maximum availability and efficiency of validation environments.
Establish and maintain a transparent target/bay scheduling process, proactively collecting team requirements on a weekly basis, prioritizing resource allocation, and coordinating usage across engineering teams to maximize utilization and minimize conflicts.
Perform bay-level and target-level interoperability, performance, stress, and reliability testing to validate system functionality across multiple hardware and software configurations.
Debug hardware failures, perform component-level and system-level root-cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive issue resolution and corrective action closure.
Support firmware and FPGA development teams with hardware setup, board bring-up, programming workflows, validation of new firmware drops, and debugging hardware-dependent firmware issues.
Drive Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through internal release systems (e.g., MyWorkshop), ensuring alignment with stakeholders and timely implementation of approved changes.

What You Will Bring

Test Automation (using Python) for FPGA Qualifications
Reliability Growth & Failure Analysis
Hardware Validation and Qualification
Target/Bay Infrastructure Management
Cross-Functional Technical Support
Resource Planning and Schedule Management
Hardware/Firmware/FPGA Integration and Debug
