Position: Sr. Golang Developer
Location: Remote – EST / CST
Type: W2 Contract-to-Hire/Permanent
Compensation: $68-73/hr


Desired Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years experience in back-end software engineering and API development
4-5+ years of experience developing with Golang on the backend
Experience building microservices in CI/CD environments (GitLab preferred)
Experience creating and consuming GraphQL APIs / web services (gRPC also preferred)
Well versed with Kubernetes and containerization
Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
Experience with Kafka or similar event driven systems
PostgreSQL database experience (NoSQL also preferred)

Description:
A Fortune 500 employer is seeking a Senior Golang Developer to join their checkout/cart team. You will primarily be tasked with building Golang based GraphQL services, along with enhancing, optimizing, and building various services / APIs for the client's ecommerce platform. You will help optimize digital ordering channels and technology innovations, create scalable, interactive applications, and write comprehensive unit tests. You will be responsible for maintaining these services while helping build new features for the applications. Additional responsibilities will include architecting, designing, optimizing, and refactoring code for peak performance, order tracking, and helping evaluate new features based on priority.

Compensation: $68-73/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
