WE'RE HIRING: Senior Engineer – FPGA Design Engineer'
We are looking for a Senior FPGA Design Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to drive end-to-end FPGA product development across high-reliability domains, including Defence, Industrial Automation, Healthcare, and Rail. In this role, you will own the complete development lifecycle—from requirement analysis and architecture to RTL implementation, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop lab testing.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Lifecycle FPGA Development: Lead FPGA requirement analysis, architectural design, RTL coding, and final lab integration.
Design & Verification: Write clean, modular VHDL/Verilog logic for targeted FPGAs and build comprehensive testbenches for functional verification.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with board design, embedded software, and QA teams to deliver integrated products aligned with customer requirements.
Debugging & Design Reviews: Troubleshoot complex logic errors, conduct STA/CDC analysis, and participate in internal/external design reviews to maintain quality standards.
Documentation: Generate clear FPGA requirements documents, architecture specifications, and test procedures.
Technical & Qualification Requirements
Education: BE / ME in Electronics (Specialization in VLSI or Embedded Design is a plus).
Experience: 3–6 years designing and implementing FPGA solutions (Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or Lattice).
EDA Tools: Proficiency in Xilinx Vivado / ISE, Intel/Altera Quartus, or Lattice Diamond.
Protocols & Interfaces: Hands-on design experience with PCIe, DDR3/DDR4, Ethernet, USB, ADC/DAC, Video Protocols (HD/SD/Parallel), UART, SPI, I2C, and parallel memory.
Core Concepts: Deep understanding of Clock Domain Crossing (CDC), Static Timing Analysis (STA), and hardware debugging techniques.
Domain Exposure: Experience in Defence, Industrial, Rail, Healthcare, or Retail Automation electronic products is preferred.
Behavioral Traits & Values
Self-driven problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong team player capable of engaging direct customer interfaces and cross-functional technical teams.
High commitment to accountability, integrity, and engineering agility.
