Senior Electrical Engineer - Medical Device - Onsite - North Bay Area, CA
My client is an innovative MedTech developing next-generation imaging systems for advanced healthcare applications. Due to continued growth across the US market, they are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their collaborative engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical devices while partnering with experts across hardware, software, and systems engineering in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and verification of high-performance electronic systems and complex PCB architectures.
Develop FPGA/HDL solutions for data acquisition, control systems, and hardware integration.
Design and integrate mixed-signal circuitry across analog and digital platforms.
Support embedded software and automation activities using languages such as C, C++, and Python.
Create and implement verification, validation, and production test methodologies for new product development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to deliver reliable products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
6+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a strong focus on product design and system-level development.
Proven expertise in PCB design, FPGA/HDL development, and mixed-signal electronics.
Strong background working within regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or similar environments.
