Job Purpose
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS and Azure cloud security. The role requires deep expertise in cloud incident response, IAM, security monitoring, and automation to strengthen the organization’s cloud security posture. The candidate will work closely with SOC, DevOps, and Cloud Architecture teams to design, implement, and improve cloud security controls and detection capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud incident response investigations, including analysis of logs, threat detection, containment, and remediation.
Develop and maintain cloud detection rules and monitoring use cases using logs such as CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, Guard Duty, Azure Activity Logs, and Azure AD logs.
Implement and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices, including least privilege, role-based access, and privilege monitoring.
Build and maintain automation and security orchestration workflows to improve incident response and threat detection.
Design, implement, and manage cloud security controls across AWS and Azure environments
Identify and mitigate misconfigurations and security risks in cloud environments.
Develop playbooks and runbooks for cloud security incidents.
Conduct threat hunting and forensic analysis in cloud environments.
Support compliance requirements and security standards related to cloud infrastructure.
Utilizes AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, documentation automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards.

Required Skills
Required Experience
5+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud-native security in AWS and/or Azure
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and securing cloud-native applications
Proven success securing and hardening SaaS workloads and cloud infrastructure, including IAM, encryption, network security, and logging.
Hands-on experience with modern security platforms
Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality.
Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop and scale to the needs of the department.
Preferred Skills
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ‑500)
AWS Certified Security Specialty
Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
