Role description
Job Title: SQL Developer

Location: Bloomington, IL (Remote)


Role Overview


The Full Stack Developer will support Life and Health application development with a strong focus on SQL based data analysis and troubleshooting

The role requires hands on expertise in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries to investigate data issues and defects along with supporting nonproduction environments.



Key Responsibilities


Develop and support LifeHealth insurance applications as part of an Agile delivery team

Write analyze and optimize complex SQL queries to troubleshoot data issues and application defects

Perform indepth data analysis using SQL including

Complex SELECT statements

Data filtering and sorting

Aggregations and calculations

Multitable joins

Subqueries and Common Table Expressions CTEs

Provide nonproduction environment support including issue investigation and resolution

Collaborate with development QA and business teams to resolve datarelated defects

Ensure adherence to coding standards data quality and project timelines



Primary Skills


Strong proficiency in SQL

Ability to analyze and write complex SQL queries for data investigation and defect resolution

Handson experience with Joins aggregations and subqueries

Common Table Expressions CTEs

Experience supporting nonproduction environments



Secondary Skills


Nonproduction environment support

Crossfunctional collaboration with AD and QA teams



Good to Have


Familiarity with AgileScrum methodologies

Prior experience in LifeHealth insurance domain
