Solidworks Designer 3 - specialist

ClearStream offers a complete line of sedimentation equipment for all municipal and industrial applications. We can supply equipment ranging from very small pilot type mechanisms to very large and complex treatment equipment. We also offer retrofit, process design, testing, and tankage/installation services. All equipment is analyzed using advanced computational fluid dynamic (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA) and civil / structural software codes, to ensure process performance and structural integrity. All mechanisms are fully designed in a 3-D CAD environment to produce the highest quality, and customer friendly designs possible.
ClearStream Environmental is looking for the right candidate with a high motivation and ambitious drive to join our team as a Designer 3 at our site in Sandy. This position will focus on our circular sedimentation equipment and future development/automation.

What You Will Do:
· Work with Engineers and Project managers to develop models, drawings, and documents used for Submittal and Fabrication.
· Design new circular sedimentation equipment to be used for sales and submittal, fabrication.
· Check others designers’ models, drawings, and BOM.
· Work with Project Managers and Project Engineers on projects.
· Work with Production for manufacturing/inspection/installation process logic.
· Create Dynamic models/drawings in SolidWorks.
· Create documentation for dynamic models/drawings.
· Help with Production Instruction department as needed.
Basic Qualifications
· SolidWorks CSWP or 5+ Years of experience in SolidWorks.
· Associates degree or 10+ years of experience in CAD or engineering.
· A passion for the design process
· GD&T experience 3+ Years
· Strong Modeling Skills.
· Strong Detailing Skills.
· Experience in/or knowledge of welding fabrication design solutions.
· In depth design methodology for fabrication, piping, connections, installation, and maintenance.
· Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead
· Experience with structural systems
· Manufacturing or engineering degree
· Knowledge of water treatment processes
· Hands-on mechanical interests and aptitude.
· Experience with Tacton/DriveWorks.
· FEA analysis experience
· Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, Kinetics, or similar)
· Experience with Microsoft Teams
