Software Test Engineer

POSITION TITLE: Software Test Engineer ROLE SUMMARY: Ensures software products meet established quality standards including reliability, usability, and performance required for release. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement test plans to improve usability of products. Work with development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot software issues. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers. Develop testing programs covering database impacts, regression testing, negative testing, and usability. Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and schedules. Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in IT from an accredited institution. Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Required Certifications: AWS Certified Machine Learning. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS services and cloud-based testing environments.
