Salary range: $125,000-$165,000
Overview
We are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join client's advanced sensing team and help build the core software and algorithms behind modern radar and RF-based perception systems. Please reach out to Chris McMillan at cmcmillan@alexandertg.com with an updated resume if you are interested.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement signal processing and state-estimation algorithms for radar and RF sensors.
Build and optimize real-time C++ software that delivers high performance and clean, usable interfaces.
Architect modular, well-tested software components that are easy to maintain and integrate across teams.
Create automated test and validation pipelines to ensure correctness and accelerate delivery.
Design data analysis and automation tools to evaluate system performance and guide algorithm improvements.
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and product teams to transition research into deployed solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience with modern C++ and performance-critical software development.
Knowledge of estimation, filtering, or sensor-fusion techniques.
Solid foundation in object-oriented design and software architecture.
Experience using Python for analysis, prototyping, or automation.
Experience in RF, radar, and sensing technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Willingness to travel up to 15%.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident due to work in restricted U.S. Government environments.
