**Python Developer or Principal Software Engineer (LLM/MLOps) — On Site, Baltimore MD**
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with hands on experience in large language models (LLMs) and machine learning operations (MLOps) to support initiatives at the Executive / commissioner level within a secure federal.gov environment
.
**Key Responsibilities:
**- Build, fine tune, and deploy LLM based applications (RAG, embeddings, vector databases
).- Develop and maintain MLOps pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and automated model monitorin
g.- Build secure REST APIs and microservices for model inferenc
e.- Work with structured and unstructured data, ETL pipelines, and cloud/on prem data platform
s.- Support model governance, drift detection, and compliance control
s.- Collaborate with cross functional teams and produce clear documentatio
n.
**Required Skills
:**- 7+ years of Python developme
nt.- Strong hands on experience with LLMs, transformers, and applied N
LP.- Deep MLOps experience (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShif
t).- Experience deploying ML systems in secure or federal environmen
ts.- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with stakeholde
rs.- Ability to work on site in Baltimore/Woodlawn (local or willing to relocat
e).- U.S. Citizenship strongly preferred due to federal suitability requiremen
ts.
